Job Description & Qualifications:
This position is in Ford Credit IT – FBS Chennai. A Mainframe Software professional with working experience as Product Manager (PM) or Anchor in Product Teams using Agile methodologies. Collaborating closely and continuously with Product Managers (PM), Product Designers (PD) and Product Owners (PO), you will help build, validate and release innovative software products early and often. Candidate as Product Manager is expected to take end to end responsibility of FFE LA (Ford Financial Europe – Lending Automotive) Reporting Product Team & its deliverables: Candidate will
- a. Understand the business requirements, needs and processes working with POs/PDs/Interfacing Teams/End Users, create Features, User Stories and prioritize the work.
- Ensure that a rolling backlog of work items are available for the team.
- Ensure security management activities are instituted (e.g. Sarbanes-Oxley (S-Ox) evidence gathering, GRC (Governance, Risks and Compliance), and Audit Support and follow-up)
- Be accountable for the Product Support, including effective management of Incidents, Problems and Business Requests within the SLA.
- Removes impediments for the team.
- Work effectively with other technical experts.
- Work in a collaborative environment with teams located in other regions.
Technical Skills required:
- Total 10+ years of experience with strong knowledge in AGILE methodology and Roles & Responsibilities as Product Manager (PM) or Anchor for 2+ years.
- 5+ years of hands on experience in Mainframe Technologies – COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2 & VSAM and usage of Utility Tools: IBMDebugger/Xpeditor, Endevor, File Manager, DB2 File-Aid, SPUFI.
- Strong technical and excellent analytical skills to support both in new Development and Production Support issues for the Mainframe application.
- Possess adequate amount of knowledge in promotion and deployment of routine fixes and major releases into a production environment using Mainframe technology.
- Experience leading an Agile software delivery team.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent logical reasoning and lateral thinking skills.
- Good Problem Solving, Stakeholder Management and relationship building skills.
- Internally motivated, able to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment.
- Work with culturally diverse distributed teams.
